Official fireworks launch rehearsal to celebrate National Day September 2 at My Dinh
At exactly 6:40 a.m. on August 30, 15 ceremonial cannons of the 45th Artillery Brigade officially opened fire at My Dinh Stadium amid cheers from thousands of people.

Howitzers weighing more than 2.3 tons were moved to the artillery area to prepare to fire. This solemn and sacred ceremony was performed by the Artillery Team of the 45th Artillery Brigade, Artillery Corps, creating a heroic echo, affirming the strength and spirit of the nation on the great festival of the country.
Firing 21 cannon salutes - the highest ceremony to welcome important occasions of the country and to welcome distinguished guests - has been undertaken by the Artillery Team of the 45th Artillery Brigade since 2010. One of the earliest units of the Vietnam People's Army, established on August 22, 1945. The unit fired the opening shot of the Dien Bien Phu campaign in 1954 and fired the final shot of the Ho Chi Minh campaign in 1975.
A large number of people were present at My Dinh Stadium to watch the opening artillery fire of the parade rehearsal on the morning of August 30.
The rain started to stop, the cool weather made people excitedly wait for the fireworks display at My Dinh.

At exactly 6:40 a.m. on August 30, 21 cannons fired simultaneously, creating an extremely proud moment at My Dinh Stadium. The explosion resounded through the autumn morning air in Hanoi , leaving thousands of witnesses moved. Many people could not hide their joy when witnessing the fireworks display ceremony on the occasion of the National Day on September 2. This is a rare opportunity for everyone to live and join in the joyful atmosphere of a national event. Cheers and applause mixed with the lively singing of revolutionary songs created a wonderful atmosphere at the fireworks viewing spot.

This year's parade has more than 16,000 soldiers participating, including 43 walking groups, 18 standing groups, and 14 military and special vehicle groups of the Army and Police. After 40 years since National Day 1985, the military vehicle block, including armored forces, has just returned to the formation.
