Toyota Vietnam confirms that it has not increased the price of imported Camry and Fortuner.

Before the information about increasing the price of Toyota Camry and Fortuner from 8-12 million VND, the company responded that there was no decision or announcement about this price adjustment.

From August 26 to August 28, 2025, information appeared on the Toyota Vietnam homepage that the price of Toyota Camry has changed to increase by 12 million VND for all 3 versions. Specifically:

The Camry 2.0 Q version with a listed price of 1.22 billion VND has now been adjusted up to 1.232 billion VND. The Camry 2.5 HEV MID version with a price of 1.46 billion VND has been adjusted up to 1.472 billion VND. The Camry 2.5 HEV TOP version with a price of 1.53 billion VND has been adjusted up to 1.542 billion VND.

In addition to the Toyota Camry, this price increase also includes the Fortuner model. Specifically, the price of the Toyota Fortuner increased by 8 million VND for the two Legender petrol versions. Other versions remain the same: The Legender 2.7 4x2 AT version, with the old price of 1.29 billion VND, has been adjusted up to 1.298 billion VND. The Legender 2.7 4x4 AT version has been adjusted up from 1.395 billion VND to 1.403 billion VND.

In early 2025, the company adjusted the price of the Innova Cross, Alphard, Land Cruiser and Raize models, increasing from 12 to nearly 300 million VND. Commenting on the sudden price increase, analysts said that Camry and Fortuner are both completely imported cars from Thailand and Indonesia. It is likely that this price increase is due to the impact of exchange rate fluctuations.

Responding to information about price increases for Toyota Camry and Fortuner, Toyota Vietnam affirmed that "there is no decision or announcement regarding product price increases".

Through the research process, Toyota Vietnam found that the above information originated from a misunderstanding of the price information of some car models displayed on the company's website: In the starting price information, the website displayed the highest priced car color instead of the lowest priced car color of the car model/version. In the car comparison section, the website displayed the highest priced car color. In fact, this feature does not display the price of each car color like the Car Information section.

Responding to information about price increases for Toyota Camry and Fortuner, Toyota Vietnam confirmed that there has been no decision or announcement regarding price increases for products.

After discovering the incident, Toyota Vietnam adjusted and updated the information on the website to ensure accuracy. Toyota added that any price adjustment decisions, if any, will be transparently announced by the company on its official website and media channels.
