The original Neue Elbbrucke Bridge in Hamburg, Germany. The bridge was completed in 1887. However, the towers were demolished in 1959 during the expansion of the bridge. The main gate of the Capelas Imperfeitas in the Batalha Monastery, Portugal. The gate was completed in 1509, but construction of the monastery stopped in 1516. The Grand Magasin Dufayel department store in Paris, France. The store first opened in 1856 and was expanded several times between 1874 and 1913, becoming one of the largest department stores of the early 20th century. The building is famous for its impressive entrance, grand staircase, and glass dome.

Notre Dame Cathedral in Amiens, France, was completed in 1270 and was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1981. Vittorio Emanuele II Shopping Mall in Milan, Italy. The building was designed by Giuseppe Mengoni in 1861 and built between 1865 and 1877. Located in the city center, it is Italy's oldest still-operating shopping mall.
