The competition is open to all Vietnamese citizens residing in Vietnam and abroad, regardless of age or profession. Professional and amateur authors, artists, and graphic designers are all eligible to participate. Each author may submit a maximum of 3 design entries.

Each entry must be presented on A4 paper (21cm x 29.7cm), with the logo width not exceeding 15cm, placed in the center of the page. Below it, there must be a smaller black-and-white version of the logo, with a maximum width of 3cm. Each entry must be accompanied by a descriptive explanation of the design concept, no more than 300 words, clarifying the meaning, message, and expressive value of the design.
According to the Organizing Committee, the logo of Lam Dong province must reflect the typical characteristics of the land and people of Lam Dong, possessing high levels of generalization, conciseness, and modernity; thereby contributing to the promotion and introduction of the image of Lam Dong province to friends both domestically and internationally.
The chosen logo should create a connection, support, and effectively serve the economic and social development tasks of the locality in the new phase.
The logo must be unique, not duplicated or confused with any existing product or logo; its form should be simple, easy to understand, easily recognizable, convenient for scaling up and down, and applicable to various materials. The logo should not use more than 4 colors, and must ensure high resolution and sharp images.

The deadline for submitting entries is March 31, 2026. The results and awards ceremony are expected to be held at the end of May 2026. The winning entry will be selected as the official logo of Lam Dong province.
Previously, in the first phase of the competition, 370 entries were received. However, after several rounds of judging, none of the entries met the requirements to be used as the official logo of the province.
Based on that, the Organizing Committee decided to launch the second round of the competition, while also providing clearer guidance on content and encouraging participation from authors with in-depth expertise in logo design.
The second round of the competition is expected to attract a large number of authors nationwide, thereby selecting works with high artistic value, strong recognition, and long-term usability.
