Launching English learning movement in high schools

On the morning of January 9, at Cao Ba Quat High School (Buon Ma Thuot City), the Department of Education and Training (GD-DT) held a launching ceremony for the English learning movement, building and developing a foreign language environment in high schools for the 2023-2024 school year.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Do Tuong Hiep emphasized that this is the first time the Department of Education and Training has organized the launching ceremony of the English learning movement. Thereby, it aims to raise awareness and positive learning attitudes towards learning foreign languages in general and English in particular, creating a useful learning environment through real-life situations to help students practice English skills, apply the knowledge they have learned into real life. Help students gradually improve their confidence, dynamism, interest in learning and using English, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning English.

High school students in the province participate in the "Golden Bell" program.

At the launching ceremony, students had the opportunity to participate in learning activities and demonstrate their English proficiency through the program “Ring the Golden Bell”. As a result, Luong Hong Thanh Tra (Ea H’leo High School) excelled over other contestants and rang the golden bell.

Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Do Tuong Hiep awarded English scholarships to the best candidates of the "Golden Bell" program .

At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded scholarships and English vouchers from English Centers in the province to participating students.
