This morning, March 20th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City held a meeting to review the Front's work in the first quarter and to implement tasks for the second quarter of 2025.

According to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, in the first quarter of 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in Hanoi City actively disseminated the policies and solutions of the Central Government, the City, and the locality regarding the implementation of political tasks in 2025; publicized the commemoration of major holidays of the Capital and the country; and promoted the application of information technology (IT) in information and propaganda activities and in understanding public opinion.

Simultaneously, the Fatherland Front at all levels proactively and effectively implemented patriotic emulation campaigns and movements; participated in the assessment, evaluation, and confirmation of the achievement of criteria for building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas for communes in the city...

Notably, earlier this year, localities within Hanoi organized People's Delegates' Conferences to discuss the development of cultural life in residential areas, ensuring progress with 26,172 contributions and suggestions to help Party committees, authorities, and residential areas effectively carry out political tasks at the grassroots level and promote civilized lifestyles in weddings and funerals. At the same time, they actively offered suggestions to effectively implement Programs No. 04, 06, and 08 of the Hanoi City Party Committee (17th term).

The Fatherland Front at all levels in the city also organized visits and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families and near-poor households with difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025, with 76,831 gifts worth over 47.4 billion VND…

Therefore, regarding the tasks for the second quarter of 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in Hanoi has determined to continue implementing the plan to organize propaganda activities for major holidays and important political events of the Capital and the country; mobilizing the people to participate in emulation movements and campaigns. At the same time, it will continue to organize social feedback and criticism on draft documents of the Central Government and the City; and hold meetings with voters before and after sessions of the National Assembly and the City People's Council…

At the conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City launched the emulation movement "Digital Citizens Together with the Capital to Rise Up" and a high-intensity emulation campaign to celebrate major holidays and welcome the Party Congresses at all levels...

Accordingly, the "Digital Citizens Helping the Capital City Soar" movement has three main components: organizing propaganda and dissemination of knowledge to raise awareness about digital transformation; promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations at all levels in the city; and actively coordinating and participating in developing digital skills for the community.

In addition, the peak emulation campaign of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City includes the following main contents: activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Hanoi City Party Committee (March 17, 1930 - March 17, 2025); organizing a connecting journey with the participation of delegates, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, and ethnic minorities in 2025 towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); launching the emulation movement "Hanoi Fatherland Front officials pioneering digital transformation", "Digital citizens and the aspiration for the development of the Capital"; and organizing conferences to contribute opinions on the documents of the Party Congress at all levels.

Mr. Nguyen Sy Truong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, delivered a speech at the conference.

In addition, the Front also organized seminars on "Promoting the role of religious organizations, accompanying the Vietnam Fatherland Front into the new era"; and "Building a team of capable Front cadres in the period when the country enters a new era, an era of national progress."

Regarding the series of activities during the peak emulation period, the Hanoi City Front will organize a delegation to welcome the 18th Congress of the Hanoi City Party Committee; organize the launching ceremony of "Day for the Poor" and commend outstanding collectives and individuals who have made significant contributions to social welfare activities; and publish the book "Building Elegant and Civilized Hanoi People" volume 9.

At the same time, in response to the "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" emulation movement; organizing a "Peak Week" to celebrate the successful Hanoi City Party Congress; commemorating the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's traditional day and organizing the National Unity Day; and holding a meeting with Fatherland Front officials from different periods…
