The Action Month is being implemented to promote propaganda and education , raise awareness, and clearly define the responsibilities and actions of Party committees, Party organizations, officials, Party members, and the people in ensuring food security and safety.
This emphasizes the role and responsibility of organizations, individuals, and businesses in enforcing food safety laws. It also provides timely information on safe and high-quality food supply chains, as well as warnings about establishments that violate regulations and pose potential food safety risks.
During the Action Month, authorities will intensify inspections and supervision of food safety, resolutely combating, preventing, and strictly handling organizations, individuals, and production and business establishments that violate regulations, especially at food service establishments, collective kitchens, and street food vendors.
Simultaneously, it is necessary to promote the role of all levels of government, management agencies, social organizations, and consumer oversight in ensuring compliance with food safety laws.
The Action Month also focuses on enhancing the capacity to prevent and proactively handle food poisoning incidents and foodborne illnesses at collective kitchens, food service establishments, and street food vendors, contributing to minimizing the risk of poisoning from the consumption of unsafe food.
