Speaking at the signing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen emphasized that food safety is a particularly important issue, directly related to the health of the people, the quality of the population, and the sustainable development of the country. The Deputy Minister highly appreciated the timely implementation of the cooperation program by the Food Safety Department and the Vietnam Association of Food Safety, contributing to building a bridge between state management agencies and the community in ensuring food safety.
According to the Deputy Minister of Health, food safety work needs to shift strongly from management to risk prevention, early and remote control, and control at the source; while also strengthening communication and enhancing the responsibility of all levels, sectors, businesses, and the people. The Deputy Minister requested the two units to focus on effectively implementing communication and health education activities; organizing consultations, training, and scientific workshops; promoting the role of experts and collaborators; and strongly applying information technology and digital transformation in communication, risk warning, and dissemination of knowledge about food safety.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thanh Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Health Improvement Consulting Association, stated that the signed cooperation program is an important basis for the two organizations to strengthen the implementation of communication activities, disseminate knowledge about food safety; provide advice and guidance to raise awareness and change community behavior; support the construction of a safe food environment from farm to table; connect experts, mobilize social resources; and coordinate the organization of conferences, seminars, scientific forums and community activities on protecting public health.
At the signing ceremony, Director of the Food Safety Department Chu Quoc Thinh emphasized several key areas of cooperation in the coming period, including promoting the dissemination and implementation of the food safety message "from farm to table"; combining professional communication with health programs and features such as "Health Compass" to spread accurate, easily understandable, and accessible knowledge to the community.
The signing ceremony of the cooperation program between the Food Safety Department and the Vietnam Health Promotion Consulting Association is an important activity, contributing to the concretization of the policy of mobilizing social resources in the work of protecting, caring for, and improving the health of the people.
