Speaking at the program, Lieutenant General Nguyen Huu Chinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, emphasized: The war has ended 50 years ago, but the consequences of toxic chemicals used by the US military on people and the environment in Vietnam are still persistent and long-lasting. Among more than 3 million victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, nearly 400,000 resistance fighters and their children infected with toxic chemicals have received treatment. However, many victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin are still living in poverty and illness, many mothers and wives of victims still silently take care of their husbands and children every day with heart-wrenching pain. Therefore, it is necessary for organizations, individuals and businesses to "join hands to ease the pain of Agent Orange" to contribute to supporting, caring for and helping victims of Agent Orange better.
Calling on the media and journalists to step up propaganda about the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam, about the work of the Party, State and people to deal with the consequences of toxic chemicals, Lieutenant General Nguyen Huu Chinh also emphasized the task of implementing the regime and policies for resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals, strengthening the work of mobilizing resources to support, care for and help Agent Orange victims and the struggle for justice for Vietnamese Agent Orange victims. Thereby, spreading widely, so that people in the country and international friends can understand more deeply about the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam.

Within the framework of the program, the Vietnam Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Fund has coordinated with the MBBank Charity App to launch a campaign to support the Vietnam Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Fund with the theme "Livelihood and integration". Accordingly, the campaign will be implemented from June 10, 2025 to September 30, 2025 to mobilize support for building new houses, repairing houses and supporting livelihoods for families of Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances. With the slogan "When you contribute a part, you contribute the whole future / Accompanying Agent Orange victims to build livelihoods and integrate", the Vietnam Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims calls for support through the charity platform by the following methods: Scan QR code, or transfer to account number 1961, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB), account name: Vietnam Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Fund.

As planned, on August 1, 2025, on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam and the Day for Agent Orange victims (August 10), the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in coordination with the Office of the Standing Agency of the National Steering Committee for Overcoming the Consequences of Post-War Bombs, Mines and Toxic Chemicals in Vietnam (Office 701), the Military Radio and Television Center and the National Action Center for Overcoming the Consequences of Toxic Chemicals and the Environment (Naccet), will organize an exchange-art program, broadcast live with the theme "Livelihood - Integration". This is a key activity in a series of activities on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam and the Day "For Victims of Agent Orange" (August 10). On this occasion, the association's organizations in localities across the country will also organize many propaganda activities, visit, give gifts, donate gratitude houses, and support livelihoods for victims; Commend and show gratitude to exemplary association officials, those with golden hearts for Agent Orange victims.
