Two bodies, a man and a woman, were found floating in Ha Long Bay.

TPO - On May 21, authorities in Quang Ninh province are verifying the identities of two bodies found floating in Ha Long Bay.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Le Ba Tai,队长 of the Quang Ninh Provincial Rescue Team, said that at around 9 am on the same day, rescue forces discovered two bodies, one male and one female, floating near the Dau Moi Temple in Ha Long Bay.

Authorities brought the two bodies ashore.

According to initial information, the victims were approximately 38 to 45 years old, and their identities are unknown. The male body was wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt and shorts; the female body was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt and shorts, and had gold necklaces and earrings.

"Based on initial assessments, it is possible that this was a married couple who met with an accident while fishing at sea," Mr. Tai informed.

After the discovery, authorities brought the bodies ashore and handed them over to the authorities of Ha Long and Ha Tu wards to coordinate the verification of identities, search for relatives, and investigate the cause of the incident.
