Two bodies were found floating on the Thach Han River.

QTO - On the morning of May 7th, authorities in Trieu Binh and Trieu Phong communes, Quang Tri province, received reports from residents about the discovery of two bodies floating on the Thach Han River.

Specifically, residents of Trieu Binh commune discovered a male body floating on the Thach Han River section flowing through the area. According to initial verification, the victim was Mr. PH (born in 1968), residing in Duong Dai Thuan village, Trieu Binh commune. Prior to this, Mr. H. left home on the afternoon of May 6th. Although his family searched for him, they could not find him.

Also on the morning of May 7th, residents of Trieu Phong commune discovered a woman's body in the Thach Han River, in Hau Kien village. Initial assessments indicate the victim was approximately 45-50 years old, but her identity remains unknown.

Currently, authorities in Trieu Binh and Trieu Phong communes are coordinating efforts to bring the bodies of the victims ashore and hand them over to their families for burial.
