Trung My commune, Binh Xuyen district (Vinh Phuc province) has a favorable geographical location, many valuable historical and cultural relics, beautiful customs and traditions, and a rich treasure of folk culture, which has been selected by the district and province for the development of spiritual and cultural tourism .

With its cultural advantages, the Party committees and authorities of Binh Xuyen district have paid attention to leading and directing the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values ​​in conjunction with tourism development, especially cultural and spiritual tourism.

Many historical sites have received investment for restoration and preservation, including some valuable sites classified at the provincial level; several major festivals attract the attention of tourists from both within and outside the locality, contributing to the education of history and cultural traditions, revolutionary ideals for the younger generation, socio -economic development, and improving the material and spiritual lives of the people.

Based on this reality, Trung My commune has developed and implemented the "Tourism Development Project for the period 2020 to 2025 and orientation to 2030" with specific objectives, solutions, and appropriate directions to create jobs, increase income for people, restore traditional craft villages, contribute to improving the material and spiritual lives, and protect the local human and ecological resources.

Mr. Truong Quang Vinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Trung My Commune, said: The commune has 8 villages with more than 2000 households and nearly 8000 people, belonging to 16 ethnic groups living together at the foot of Tam Dao mountain. Of these, ethnic minorities account for nearly 60%, mainly the San Diu ethnic group.

"The commune's transportation system currently has three main routes. The commune also has hotels, restaurants, and many entertainment and sports facilities to serve the needs of residents and tourists visiting for sightseeing and relaxation," Mr. Vinh added.
