Developing a circular medicinal agricultural chain

Presently, Thien Phuc Agricultural and Medicinal Plants Cooperative, in Minh Tien hamlet, Minh Lap commune (Dong Hy) has developed nearly 30 hectares of medicinal plants, including 4 hectares of Bo Chinh ginseng, 3 hectares of Cat Sam and over 20 hectares of Ba Kich.

Currently, Thien Phuc Agricultural and Medicinal Plants Cooperative, in Minh Tien hamlet, Minh Lap commune (Dong Hy) has developed nearly 30 hectares of medicinal plants.

In addition, the Cooperative also raises 5,000 ri and ri crossbred chickens; 4,000 H'Mong chickens and 3 snail farms with an area of ​​1 hectare. The Cooperative has produced high-class foods and drinks combined with Bo Chinh ginseng such as: Panna cotta ginseng (ginseng dessert), ginseng hotpot, H'Mong chicken stewed with ginseng and products with ginseng ingredients such as ginseng powder, ginseng tea... The products of the Cooperative have been honored with many major awards in the culinary industry in and outside the province.

This result is due to the fact that since 2023, the Cooperative has received support from the Provincial Women's Union and Dong Hy District to implement the Project of applying science to develop a circular agricultural chain of medicinal herbs in an organic direction to create green energy. During the project implementation, the Cooperative has linked and transferred to 15 cooperative groups with 50 households (mainly women and ethnic minorities) in the district to participate. Thereby contributing to job creation and increasing income for women in difficult areas.
