Approval of resettlement planning for Cam Lam and Cam Ranh

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision on approving the detailed planning (scale 1/500) of Cam Lam and Cam Ranh resettlement areas.

Perspective of resettlement area number 1.

The project has a total area of ​​239.06 hectares with 4 resettlement areas, meeting the housing needs of about 25,016 residents and playing a fundamental role in the modern urban development strategy of Cam Lam and Cam Ranh areas. The planning identifies area No. 1 with an area of ​​142.88 hectares in Cam Lam commune, adjacent to Cu Hin mountain and Golden Bay urban area, as the largest area in the entire project. Area No. 2 has an area of ​​40.27 hectares, located near Nguyen Tat Thanh street and Bai Dai eco-tourism cultural park. Area No. 3 has an area of ​​39.50 hectares in Bac Cam Ranh ward, adjacent to National Highway 1 and the education area. Area No. 4 has an area of ​​16.41 hectares, located in Bac Cam Ranh ward, adjacent to public service works and existing residential areas.

The approved project aims to synchronize technical and social infrastructure, including roads, water supply and drainage, electricity, lighting, telecommunications, green parks, schools, medical facilities, community living areas and commercial and service works. In particular, the architectural landscape space of the areas is planned in a modern way, closely linked to the natural characteristics of the area. The system of green parks, regulating lakes and landscape axes connecting the water surface of Thuy Trieu lagoon will play a role in regulating the climate, while improving the capacity to adapt to climate change and reducing the risk of local flooding in the planning area. At the same time, the technical infrastructure system is comprehensively designed, applying modern technology in water supply, drainage, waste treatment, energy supply and smart lighting.
