On the evening of May 23rd, the film officially reached the 200 billion VND mark in revenue after 39 days of release, starting from early screenings on April 15th. Simultaneously, this is also the first Vietnamese horror film in history to reach the 200 billion VND mark, along with 2.5 million viewers.
With this achievement, director Do Quoc Trung's film became the second highest-grossing film of 2026, second only to "Tho Oi" (directed by Tran Thanh) with nearly 450 billion VND in revenue.
In addition, "Phi Phong: The Blood Demon of the Sacred Forest" has officially surpassed "Em Chua 18" to join the top 15 highest-grossing Vietnamese films of all time.
This achievement also marks a new milestone in Kieu Minh Tuan's career, as it is the highest-grossing film the actor has ever participated in, surpassing the previous record of 172 billion VND set by "Em chua 18 " in 2017.

To date, even in its sixth week of release, *Phi Phong: Blood Demon of the Sacred Forest* still maintains a fairly stable audience, consistently ranking in the top 5 for ticket sales and box office revenue each day, despite competition from many newly released films.
This demonstrates the enduring appeal of the horror film inspired by the legend of bloodthirsty demons in the highlands of Vietnam. The film maintained its strong performance at the box office for many weeks, consistently achieving remarkable revenue milestones.
The film is still showing in theaters nationwide.
