Victor Vu's film 'Detective Kien' surpasses 100 billion VND in revenue

According to statistics of Box Office Vietnam , as of the evening of May 2, Detective Kien: The Headless Case by director Victor Vu has surpassed the 100 billion VND revenue mark. On May 2 alone, Victor Vu's project earned 13 billion VND, selling 147,000 tickets.

Detective Kien: The Headless Case is a spin-off of The Last Wife (2023) - a work by Victor Vu that once grossed 97 billion VND at the box office.

Victor Vu continues to have another project reaching the 100 billion VND mark.

Since its release, Detective Kien: The Headless Case received many compliments for its meticulous filmmaking, from the setting, costumes to the script. The film tells the story of detective Kien's journey to solve a strange case - the main character played by Quoc Huy. With a strong investigative narrative, mixed with spiritual and historical colors, the film creates a thrilling atmosphere rarely seen in recent Vietnamese films.

Supporting actors such as People's Artist My Uyen (as Mrs. Vuong), Dinh Ngoc Diep (as Hai Man), Meritorious Artist Xuan Trang, Anh Pham, Minh Anh... are all highly appreciated for creating depth in their characters.
