On the morning of July 3, the Provincial People's Committee worked with a number of mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State to listen to reports on the operation situation in the first 6 months of 2024 and the direction of operation in the coming time. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan chaired the meeting.

In recent times, the associations have closely followed the work programs and plans; organized many practical and effective activities, in accordance with the charter and legal regulations. Some associations have made positive contributions in helping the poor, people in difficult circumstances, studious children; social work, charity, humanitarian... contributing practically to the socio -economic development in the province.

At the meeting, the associations also made proposals and recommendations, hoping that the province would continue to pay more attention to the organization, regime, policies, funding conditions, support for repairing offices and purchasing office equipment. Tam Ky City will reclaim the offices of some associations by the end of 2024, so it is necessary to study the arrangement of offices; include the criteria for evaluating the recognition of " Learning Unit" and "Learning Citizen" in the annual competition criteria for schools in theeducation system.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the associations assigned by the Party and State to the socio-economic development of the province. At the same time, he sympathized and shared the difficulties of the associations.

Comrade Tran Anh Tuan requested that the associations focus on completing the tasks set out in the plan. Coordinate well with the branches and associations at the grassroots level to take care of the life, culture, spirit and economy of the members. Departments and branches need to focus on resolving and thoroughly handling the long-standing problems and respond to the proposals and recommendations of the associations in writing.
