Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee receives additional duties.

TPO - Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, has been appointed as the Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Council of University Principals, replacing Mr. Duong Anh Duc, who has been transferred to another position.

On the morning of August 13th, at the preliminary review meeting of the Council of Rectors of universities in Ho Chi Minh City, the organizing committee announced the decision of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City regarding the addition and replacement of members of the Council of Rectors of universities in Ho Chi Minh City (hereinafter referred to as the Ho Chi Minh City Council of Rectors).

Accordingly, Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy – Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, will assume the position of Standing Vice Chairman of the Council of University Principals of Ho Chi Minh City, replacing Mr. Duong Anh Duc who has transferred to another position.

Mr. Nguyen Bac Nam, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Internal Affairs, has been appointed as a member of the Ho Chi Minh City University Principals' Council, replacing Mr. Lam Hung Tan.

Regarding the addition of members to the Ho Chi Minh City Council of Principals, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee decided to add Mr. Duong Tri Dung – Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, as a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Council of Principals.

Simultaneously, a decision was made to reassign the duties of the Support Team for the Council of Principals of Ho Chi Minh City. Accordingly, Mr. Duong Tri Dung – Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, was appointed as the Head of the Support Team for the Council of Principals of Ho Chi Minh City. Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Thuy – Deputy Chief of the Office of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Support Team.

In addition, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also issued a decision to remove the following members from the Ho Chi Minh City Council of Rectors: the Ho Chi Minh City branch of the Hanoi University of Interior Affairs (due to its merger with the Ho Chi Minh City branch of the National Academy of Public Administration) and the Regional Political Academy II under the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (because the unit does not offer university-level training).
