Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee receives additional tasks

On the morning of August 13, at the preliminary conference of the Council of Rectors of universities in Ho Chi Minh City, the Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on adding and replacing members of the Council of Rectors of universities in Ho Chi Minh City (abbreviated as the Council of Rectors of Ho Chi Minh City).

Accordingly, Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy - Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, holds the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Principals Council, replacing Mr. Duong Anh Duc who has transferred to another job.

Mr. Nguyen Bac Nam - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City, became a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Council of Principals, replacing Mr. Lam Hung Tan.

Regarding the addition of members to the Ho Chi Minh City Council of Principals, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee decided to add Mr. Duong Tri Dung - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, as a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Council of Principals.

At the same time, the decision was made to reassign the tasks of the Working Group of the Council of Principals of Ho Chi Minh City. Accordingly, Mr. Duong Tri Dung - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, is the Head of the Working Group of the Council of Principals of Ho Chi Minh City. Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Thuy - Deputy Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Deputy Head of the Working Group.

Along with that, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also decided to stop participating in the Council of Presidents of Ho Chi Minh City for the following members: Hanoi University of Home Affairs Branch in Ho Chi Minh City (due to the merger into the Branch of the National Academy of Public Administration in Ho Chi Minh City) and the Regional Political Academy II under the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (due to the unit not providing university-level training).
