Based on the results of the 10th grade entrance exams in the three subjects of Literature, Foreign Language, and Mathematics, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training provides the following score distribution for each subject.

The highest score in Literature was 9.5

In the Literature subject, one candidate achieved a score of 9.5, the highest score in this subject. In addition, 20 candidates scored 9.25; 197 candidates scored 9; and 808 candidates scored 8.75. The number of candidates scoring between 8 and 8.75 was 11,014.

The lowest score in the 10th grade literature exam was 0.25, achieved by 3 candidates. The total number of candidates scoring below average was 11,395.

The distribution of scores for the Literature subject is as follows:

30,312 candidates scored between 8 and 10 in English.

English subject: 1,707 candidates achieved a perfect score of 10. The lowest score in this subject was 0.25, achieved by 2 candidates. The total number of candidates scoring below average in this subject was 29,950. The total number of candidates scoring between 8 and 10 was 30,312.

The distribution of scores for the English subject is as follows:

43,201 candidates scored above average in mathematics.

Mathematics: 49 candidates achieved a perfect score of 10. The lowest score in this subject was 0.25, achieved by 123 candidates. The total number of candidates scoring above average in mathematics was 43,201. The number of candidates scoring below 5 was 55,344.

After the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announces the 10th grade exam results, from June 21-24, candidates can submit appeals at the junior high school where they studied in 9th grade. All candidates have the right to appeal their exam results.

The cut-off scores for specialized and integrated 10th-grade classes will be announced on June 24th. Successful candidates will submit their enrollment documents to the school they have been admitted to from June 25th to 4 PM on June 29th. Candidates who do not submit their enrollment documents will have their names removed from the list of admitted students.

On June 30th, the Department of Education and Training announced the results of the re-evaluation, and from July 2nd to 4th, it approved the supplementary list of candidates admitted after the re-evaluation.

On July 5th, schools will begin admitting students to specialized and integrated classes after any review of exam results, if necessary.

On July 10th, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will hold a meeting of the 10th grade entrance exam steering committees of districts, counties, Thu Duc City, and high school principals to finalize the cut-off scores for regular 10th grade classes.
