Specifically, the Deputy Prime Minister instructed the Ministries of Public Security, Agriculture and Environment; the People's Committee of Dong Nai province; and the Vietnam Airports Corporation to urgently implement measures to ensure the progress of project components (especially those packages at risk of not meeting deadlines), complete the project synchronously, and put it into operation as directed by the Prime Minister (basically completed in 2025).
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the People's Committee of Dong Nai province are directing relevant agencies to ensure the timely and adequate supply of materials for the Project as directed by the Prime Minister.
The Ministry of Construction , in coordination with the investors, will review and determine the completion dates for each bidding package, component project, and the entire Project to ensure synchronization when put into operation, maximize efficiency, and avoid waste; monitor, urge, and inspect the Project implementation process, promptly address difficulties and obstacles, and report to the Prime Minister on issues beyond its authority.
The Ministry of Construction, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, and other relevant localities and agencies are implementing transportation routes connecting to Long Thanh International Airport as directed by the Prime Minister and the Task Force.
The Long Thanh International Airport project comprises four component projects: Component Project 1 (headquarters of state agencies); Component Project 2 (air traffic control facilities); Component Project 3 (essential facilities); and Component Project 4 (ground service facilities).
