Strive to achieve the highest results of the 2023 plan goals

Reviewing many achievements, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai said that there are still many limitations, shortcomings and difficulties, such as low credit growth, access to capital for businesses, broken supply chains, inadequate labor market, corporate bonds, real estate; purchasing managers' index continues to decrease. The purchasing power of many large, traditional markets such as the US, EU, Japan, Korea, ASEAN... has impacted and affected many industries and fields of our country. About 88,000 businesses withdrew from the market. Local power shortages in northern localities. The lives of a part of the people are still difficult, especially workers, people in remote areas, border areas, and islands. A part of officials have the mindset of avoiding, pushing, fearing responsibility, fearing mistakes...

“This situation leads to a prolonged work process, wasting time, resources, and development opportunities, reducing the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, hindering the direction and administration of authorities at all levels; in some places, it is very stagnant, reducing the trust of people and businesses in state agencies, affecting the implementation of the set socio-economic development goals,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

Referring to the solution, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai said that in the coming time, the Government and the Prime Minister requested all levels, sectors and localities to focus on overcoming the above-mentioned limitations, shortcomings and weaknesses; thoroughly grasp and continue to fully and seriously implement the regulations of the Party and the State. Strengthen decentralization and delegation of power associated with individualization of responsibilities, promote the responsibility of leaders; resolutely prevent shirking and evasion of responsibilities. Strengthen inspection and examination of public service activities, especially surprise inspections and examinations. Timely commend and reward organizations, individuals of agencies, collectives, cadres and civil servants who are resolute in performing public duties, completing their tasks well, daring to speak, daring to think, daring to do, being proactive and creative for the common good.
