List of 8 metro lines just approved by Hanoi, including 2 lines going to the airport

Hanoi City will invest in building an underground urban railway system, including 8 lines with a total length of about 320.25km, 191 stations, of which 81.2km will be underground and 68 underground stations.

With the majority of delegates in agreement, the Hanoi People's Council on the morning of July 10 passed a Resolution promulgating a list of underground works encouraged for investment and construction in the city (phase 1).

Firstly, the list of investment projects to build the underground urban railway system, including 8 routes: Noi Bai - Thuong Dinh - Buoi; Troi - Nhon - Yen So; Me Linh - Sai Dong - Lien Ha; Van Cao - Hoa Lac; Son Dong - Mai Dich; Linh Nam - Duong Xa, Ngoc Hoi - the second airport in the South; Cat Linh - Lang Ha - Le Van Luong - Yen Nghia; Ring Road 2 - the southern axis - the second airport in the South.

Second, the investment portfolio for construction of road tunnels, underground parking lots and underground public works, including: 85 works, including 5 road underpasses, 78 underground parking lots and 2 underground public works.
