Preventing and combating IUU fishing before and during the two-level government arrangement

In order to ensure that the work of preventing and combating IUU fishing and overcoming the EC's "Yellow Card" recommendations in the province continues to be strengthened and is not affected or interrupted during the process of arranging the 2-level local government according to the Party and State's policy, which will come into operation from July 1, 2025, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has given instructions on a number of contents.

Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is required to direct its specialized agencies (directly the Sub-Department of Fisheries and Islands, the Provincial Fishing Port Management Board) based on legal regulations and assigned functions and tasks, to focus on implementing urgent and key tasks.
