Appointment and rotation of 10 positions
Phong Dien is entering the most important stage in the roadmap to becoming a town. Projects are being urgently completed to reach the finish line before 2025. In particular, the project for the area expected to establish Phong Dien town meeting the criteria of a type IV urban area has just been approved by the Central Appraisal Council... This is also the time when the Phong Dien District Party Committee and People's Committee are busier with personnel preparation. Many leadership positions at the district and commune levels have been rotated and newly appointed.
Accordingly, in June and July 2024, the Phong Dien District Party Committee and People's Committee issued 10 decisions on rotation and appointment of key officials. Specifically, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Secretary of the Phong An Commune Party Committee, was transferred and appointed to the position of Chief of Office of the District People's Council and People's Committee; Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Deputy Chief of the District Party Committee Office, was appointed to the position of Head of the Economic and Infrastructure Department; Mr. Le Hoang Linh, Secretary of the Phong Xuan Commune Party Committee, was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Justice Department.
Not long after that, the Standing Committee of Phong Dien District Party Committee transferred Mr. Nguyen Khoa Trien, Party Secretary, Chairman of Phong My Commune People's Council to work at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, oriented to introduce and consult to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Standing Member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district and hold the position of Vice Chairman; transferred Mr. Nguyen Vu, Chief of Office of the People's Council & People's Committee of the district to work at the Phong An Commune Party Committee, appointed to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; transferred Mr. Tran Cong Phuong, Deputy Chief of Office of the District Party Committee to work at the Phong My Commune Party Committee, appointed to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
At the same time, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee transferred Mr. Trinh Duc Hiep, Deputy Head of the Economic and Infrastructure Department to work at the Phong Son Commune Party Committee, appointed him to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; transferred Mr. Nguyen Ba Nam, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Phong Son Commune to work at the Phong Xuan Commune Party Committee, appointed him to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee...
The new Secretary of Phong Son Commune Party Committee, Trinh Duc Hiep, said that being assigned to a new position is both an honor and a responsibility. In his new position, he promises to do his best, together with the cadres, civil servants and public employees of the unit, to fulfill the assigned tasks well. Strive to successfully implement the resolutions of the Party Congress of the commune and district. Determined to build the locality to become more and more prosperous and beautiful; contribute to building Phong Dien district into a town, worthy of the land of revolutionary tradition.
Driving force for the future town
According to the Standing Committee of Phong Dien District Party Committee, when becoming a town, Phong Dien's role and position will be increased. The responsibility of a dynamic urban area in the north of the province will therefore be greater. This requires the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the district to make many times more efforts to be able to meet the new tasks. Especially in key leadership positions at the district and commune levels, which will soon become towns and wards.
At the ceremonies announcing the decision to transfer and appoint cadres, the leaders of the District Party Committee and the People's Committee of Phong Dien District emphasized that becoming a town is the most important goal. "Steering" the boat named Phong Dien town is even more important. Once trusted in their new positions, cadres need to continue to strive to practice and improve their professional knowledge, skills and management skills; create solidarity and unanimity among the collective leadership and cadres, civil servants and public employees of the unit to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
Mr. Doan Ky Coi, Standing Deputy Secretary of Phong Dien District Party Committee, believes that with the arrangement and assignment of cadres with sufficient qualities, capacity and prestige, equal to the tasks, in new positions, the cadres will contribute to creating breakthrough innovations; breakthroughs in leadership and direction of the innovation cause in each locality in terms of socio-economic development, Party building work, and areas of life...
According to Mr. Coi, although the time for personnel preparation is short, Phong Dien is not in a hurry. The work of planning, training, fostering, arranging, rotating, and appointing cadres is carried out methodically, following the correct procedures, objectively and democratically; correctly assessing the capacity of cadres in each new position. The survey results show that the cadres in the rotation and transfer are all standardized in terms of professional qualifications and political theory; have a firm ideological stance, exemplary in moral qualities and lifestyle; dynamic and creative working style and manner, with innovations in the direction of science, close to the people, and close to the people.
