Thematic exhibition "Letters from the Resistance War"

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025), the Ho Chi Minh City Museum is presenting a special exhibition titled "Letters from the Resistance War" to inspire patriotism, courage, and the noble sacrifices of generations of Vietnamese people in the struggle for independence and national reunification. Through this exhibition, profound humanistic values ​​are disseminated, patriotism is fostered, and today's generation is inspired to continue striving in their studies, work, and contributions to the sustainable development of the country.

The exhibition room is titled "Letters from the Resistance War".

The exhibition consists of three main sections:

1. Ready for the front lines.

2. Mementos that have stood the test of time.

3. Interactive space (simulating the Truong Son military base).

Throughout the brutal years of war, amidst the arduous front lines and the poignant memories of the home front, handwritten letters and diary entries transcended all distances, becoming a sacred link between soldiers and their families, and valuable documents deeply reflecting the spiritual life, emotions, and aspirations of soldiers during the fierce war. Beyond their personal significance, each letter and diary entry served as a genuine, emotionally rich "historical witness," contributing to the preservation of the memory of a heroic period in the nation's history.
