Recently, a series of incidents related to school violence have occurred and attracted public attention. As parents, many parents have expressed their strong attitudes and views to protect their children when they unfortunately fall into similar situations.
Chi is always there to accompany and listen to her children's thoughts.
As a parent with a young child, Ms. Tran Thi Linh Chi (born 1986, Van Chuong, Dong Da, Hanoi ) said she is very worried and always cares about her child when he goes to school.
“I have never taught my child to hit his friends, but I have taught him not to sit still and let himself be bullied. I will always be with him, ready to conquer the world with him and be there for him on every journey of life,” said Chi.
According to Ms. Chi, it is not enough for us adults to be parents, we must also be friends with our children so that they can express their thoughts and concerns, and we can also intervene and resolve issues promptly to avoid things like school violence going too far.
When experiencing or witnessing bullying or school violence in and out of school, people can call 111 to provide information free of charge.
As a former student who suffered from school violence, Ms. Le Ha Phuong (Vinh City, Nghe An) said that school violence exists in anyeducational environment, including specialized schools and selective classes, urban or rural areas.
“In the past, the media was not as explosive as it is now, there were no phones to record things, no evidence, we could only tell our teachers, tell our parents and protect ourselves. The more society develops, the more worries there are, worrying about which school, which class, which system our children will attend, worrying about our children lacking skills, worrying about teaching our children to protect themselves; worrying about our children being abused, worried about our children being pressured, being boycotted, being depressed… Teaching our children knowledge, character, morality, skills, attitudes… Protecting our children from many temptations and risks,” Ms. Phuong shared.
According to Ms. Phuong, school pressure is really too serious and dangerous, do not blame the children when they do not know how to overcome the pressure. As a mother, Ms. Phuong said that to solve this problem, it is necessary to understand and connect with the children, their families and schools.
In our country, school violence not only occurs in the form of physical fighting but also in many mental attacks such as threats, cursing, isolation... This can affect the development of students. This problem can be limited and prevented when parents pay attention to their children.
