Upon inspection, the police discovered that Vo Thanh Tan and Huynh Thi Thuy Trang were directing Ly Cong Khiem (born in 2000, residing in Soc Trang ) and four other individuals residing in Tra Vinh, including Truong Kha Minh (born in 1999), Le Anh Hao (born in 2004), Huynh Minh Tri (born in 2003), and Pham Van Teo (born in 1996), to produce counterfeit versions of TH milk, CCCL soft drinks, LT fish sauce, and SL dishwashing liquid from well-known brands.
These products had expired, but the perpetrators used very sophisticated and undetectable methods to alter the expiration dates, allowing them to continue selling them to consumers.
The investigation and pursuit quickly uncovered that To Khanh Xuyen (born in 1987, residing in Vinh Long ) was the mastermind and owner of a general merchandise warehouse at No. 6, Trinh Quang Nghi Street, Ward 7, District 8, who also engaged in similar activities, directly producing counterfeit milk, soft drinks, and fish sauce products that mimicked the usability of well-known brands on the market.
