“Tourists can find everything in Phu Quoc”

On December 5, 2024,Sun Group and Accor & Ennismore - the world's leading hotel management group signed a cooperation agreement to bring the world's leading luxury all-inclusive resort brand Rixos to Phu Quoc. This is a high-end all-inclusive hotel brand with 45 facilities in Turkey, Egypt, UAE, Central Asian countries, Gulf countries...

Rixos brings a new standard and concept of resort in the world - "all-inclusive resort". Simply put, Rixos resorts are where visitors can enjoy all the resort amenities, entertainment, recreation, relaxation... designed in the most luxurious way, with a package price paid only once. Therefore, this service package is also known as "a carefree luxury vacation".

It is expected that when launched, the services that Rixos Phu Quoc provides will include rooms, diverse meals (with nearly 20 restaurants/bars), a series of exclusive amenities from the family-friendly beach area with many playgrounds and Rixy Kids Club, swimming pool, outdoor playground, gym, spa & activities to fully experience the Sun Paradise Land ecosystem in Phu Quoc such as sightseeing and having fun at Hoang Hon town, experiencing the world's longest 3-wire cable car, having fun at Aquatopia water park at Sun World Hon Thom; enjoying high-class art shows, visiting the Kissing Bridge... and many other experiences.

Explaining the reason for choosing Phu Quoc as the first destination of the Rixos brand in Southeast Asia, Ms. Agnes Roquefort, Global Development Director of Accor Luxury & Lifestyle, emphasized the potential of the tourism product ecosystem that the pearl island possesses: “Sun Group has built a comprehensive ecosystem including accommodation, entertainment and many unique experiences. This is completely consistent with the value we bring to visitors - a comprehensive 360-degree experience. From rooms, restaurants to activities, great experiences, all contribute to creating unforgettable memories for visitors”.

According to Mr. Francois Boudin - representative of Rixos Hotels, Phu Quoc's ecosystem has developed and choosing Phu Quoc as the first destination is "very meaningful" for this brand.

“Phu Quoc is strong in the entertainment and service industry. And for us, it is very important to show Asian customers this clearly. They will have a high-end all-inclusive experience when coming to Phu Quoc and we really want to show that,” Mr. Francois Boudin shared.

Both representatives of Accor & Ennismore assessed that Phu Quoc is a destination that can fully exploit what the concept of “all-inclusive resort” can bring. “Depending on your wishes, visitors can find everything in Phu Quoc,” Ms. Agnes emphasized.

From “all-inclusive” destination to “super luxury” island

With the concept of all-inclusive resorts, Ngoc Island is expected to attract high-end customers with high spending ability and long-term stays.

The arrival of the Rixos brand in Phu Quoc is predicted by many tourism experts to help the island welcome many new routes, especially from the Gulf countries and Türkiye - the cradle of Rixos - two markets that own the world's leading luxury airlines with Dubai and Qatar airports... considered the busiest passenger transit points in the world.

Not only that, the concept of “all-inclusive vacation” is also considered to help increase the length of stay on the island, as customers have more things to experience. In particular, visitors will also “close the deal” faster during the booking and room reservation process, because everything is included in the package. This is suitable for business travelers with limited time, who find it difficult to schedule a detailed trip.

Not only Rixos, Sun Group has also recently brought to the pearl island the world's top-class resort brands such as JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay, La Festa Phu Quoc - Curio Collection by Hilton, The Luxury Collection or Ritz Carlton Reserve. The Aspira Tower with a total investment of 13,000 billion VND is also expected to be started by Sun Group on December 10 in Hon Thom, expected to become "the world's second sail tower in Southeast Asia", attracting international visitors like the tourism icon Dubai has done.
