Phu Yen approves coastal road project connecting Tuy An district with Tuy Hoa city
The Phu Yen coastal road project, connecting Tuy An district - Tuy Hoa city (phase 1) has a length of 14.6 km, with a total investment of VND 2,228 billion.

Mr. Le Tan Ho, Vice Chairman of Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee has just signed a decision approving the Phu Yen coastal road project, the section connecting Tuy An district - Tuy Hoa city (phase 1). The project is invested by the Phu Yen Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board.
Group A project, a level I road traffic project, has a total route length of about 14.6 km, a roadbed width of 42 m, and a design speed of 60 km/h. The project starts at the coastal road project north of An Hai bridge and ends at the Navy submarine rehabilitation center (An Phu commune, Tuy Hoa city). The total investment capital of the project is 2,228 billion VND, of which the central budget capital is 800 billion VND.
The project has a scale of investment in construction and completion of the traffic system, sidewalks, median strips, drainage systems, and traffic safety systems suitable for the investment phase; the section from Km25+214.39 to Km25+628.71 is invested in construction of complete technical infrastructure systems and auxiliary works according to the plan.
The Phu Yen coastal road project, the section connecting Tuy An district - Tuy Hoa city was approved on February 16, 2023, at the 14th session of the People's Council of Phu Yen province, term VIII, 2021-2026, with a length of 14.2 km, total investment capital of 3,428 billion VND; implementation period in the period 2023 - 2027.
Then, on December 18, 2023, at the 19th Session, the 8th People's Council of Phu Yen province passed a Resolution adjusting the investment policy of the Phu Yen coastal road project, the section connecting Tuy An district - Tuy Hoa city (phase 1). The project was adjusted to increase the length to 14.7 km, reducing the total investment capital to VND 2,228 billion.
The project is divided into 2 phases, phase 2023 - 2025 is 1,328 billion VND (of which central budget is 800 billion VND, provincial budget is 528 billion VND); phase 2026 - 2028 is 900 billion VND (provincial budget). Investment preparation time is 2023 - 2024; investment implementation time is 2024 - 2028.
According to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Phu Yen province, the project passes through 5 communes including An Ninh Dong, An Hoa Hai, An My, An Chan (Tuy An district) and An Phu commune, Tuy Hoa city with a land use area of over 86.2 hectares.
The project is implemented to gradually invest in completing the coastal road of Phu Yen province; it is the main traffic axis connecting inter-regional traffic, linking urban clusters, industrial parks, large project areas with the seaport system, airports and connecting other types of transportation; creating favorable conditions for exploiting and effectively using marine and coastal resources, serving the socio -economic development of coastal localities...
It is known that the coastal road through Phu Yen province includes National Highway ID from Song Cau town to the sea through Tuy An district, Tuy Hoa city and Dong Hoa town to Vung Ro port, connecting with National Highway 1 with a length of 137.5 km, divided into 5 sections. Of which, many sections have been invested; the connecting section from Song Cau town to Tuy Hoa city is about 35.2 km long and the section from Vung Ro port to Deo Ca tunnel is about 9 km long, which has not been invested, greatly limiting the development of local tourism ...
