"May Gifts for Him" ​​- Special art program to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh

NDO - On the evening of May 14 at the Hanoi Opera House, a special art program "May Gifts for Him" ​​will take place to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

The program is directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the participation of Culture Newspaper, Vietnam Music and Dance Theater and Social Impact Media and Strategy Joint Stock Company.

The program is directed by Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, produced by Meritorious Artist Nguyen Hai Linh and journalist Nguyen Anh Vu, Editor-in-Chief of Culture Newspaper, and General Directors are Meritorious Artists Truong Bac and Hoang Tung.

The program has the participation of famous artists from many generations such as People's Artists Thu Hien, Quang Vinh, Truong Giang, Phuong Thao, Le Giang, To Nga, Truong Bac, Hoang Tung ... and young faces such as Anh Tu, Minh Chau, Thao Nguyen, CeeJay, Lena, Charlie Winston, Oplus group, Hoang Hai, Trang Phap, Hoang Hong Ngoc, Rapper RamC ...

The program includes 3 chapters: "The person looking for the shape of the country", "The flag for peace" and "The name of Ho Chi Minh will shine forever", elaborately staged with the combination of many types of art: singing, dancing, music, drama, animation, cinema and modern 3D mapping projection technology.

In the first chapter, the program recreates the childhood of the boy Nguyen Sinh Cung and his 30-year journey to find a way to save the country. The dance performance combined with the hologram projection in White Winters creates touching images of Uncle Ho's journey during his years in a foreign land, France.

Chapter 2 of the program carries the message of international spirit in Ho Chi Minh's thought, with the thoughts of peace, charity and humanity. The report "Ho Chi Minh - The flag for peace and global influence" helps the audience access the statements of foreign scholars, international friends from France, India, Cuba, Africa... All are in awe of his stature in thought and his benevolent heart.

In chapter 3, the performances show the spirit of solidarity of the whole nation, firmly following the path that Uncle Ho chose. The path that he chose for our nation and people still holds its value today, in line with the country's reality and the general trend of the world.

In the program, melodies such as Praise to President Ho, Song of Ho Chi Minh, or Right to live in peace... are performed by leading artists, contributing to highlighting Uncle Ho's noble ideals of life.

In addition, the performances “My Kool Vietnam – My homeland Vietnam”, the scene “Vow to follow His Will” and especially the medley “Who loves Uncle Ho Chi Minh more than children – Uncle Ho, He gave me everything” express the precious feelings that every Vietnamese child has for Uncle Ho, the national spirit, the harmony between traditional, modern and international values.

The program's production team hopes that each performance will not only be an artistic story, but also a message to the younger generation that respecting the past, being grateful for history, and the spirit of continuous learning and striving are the ways to realize the aspiration of a strong Vietnam, just as His sacred will.

“May Gifts for Him” is an annual art program organized by the Culture Newspaper, aiming to celebrate Uncle Ho's birthday every year, with high-quality art performances that are loved by the audience.
