Recently, diners at Ut Hien restaurant (1/7 Tran Quy Cap Street, Ward 9, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province) were surprised to find that the QR code contained a payment account number that did not belong to the restaurant but to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Customers only stopped wondering when they read the restaurant's message: "From September 16th to September 19th, Ut Hien restaurant will not accept cash or bank transfers to the restaurant's account. All revenue from these four days will be donated to people in the North."

For your convenience, please pay for your meal using the QR code containing the Vietnam Fatherland Front's account number, and remember to write the following message below: "Joining hands for flood-affected people."

Ut Hien restaurant is a famous and popular eatery, especially among tourists, in Da Lat. The owner, Mr. Duc Bao Huy (37 years old), said: "The restaurant has already contributed money to the fund supporting people in the North. Changing the payment account number to the Vietnam Fatherland Front account number is because the restaurant wants to donate more of its revenue to the fund supporting people in the North, with the support of our customers."

Mr. Huy shared that donating all of the revenue from four days had an impact on the restaurant's business, but he also said, "It's okay, we're in Da Lat, so if anything happens, it's just a matter of having less to eat, not the hardships faced by people in flood-affected areas."

The restaurant owner added that the restaurant still prints receipts for customers, but does not control the payment process, allowing customers to freely express their generosity to the people affected by the storms and floods.

Tourist Nguyen Phuong Hong (30 years old, from Ho Chi Minh City) was delighted with the restaurant's way of supporting the cause. She said: "With this approach, the restaurant has already contributed both its capital and profits. I find it impressive and commendable."
