The competition involved 17 teams with 102 shooters from units and schools within the Corps.

Over five days, the teams competed in three events: individual events (5 exercises), paired shooting events (3 exercises), and team events (2 exercises).

Major General Nguyen Thanh Pho, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the 12th Army Corps, delivered the opening speech at the sports competition.

In his opening remarks at the sports competition, Major General Nguyen Thanh Pho, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the 12th Army Corps, commended the sense of responsibility of the units and schools in leading, directing, and focusing investment on organizing sniper training according to the program and plan; and praised the athletes for their active and proactive efforts in overcoming difficulties in training, especially in hot weather conditions, improving their technical skills, combat coordination capabilities, and competitive spirit.
