The 141st Regiment has just completed the "three explosives" test for new recruits in 2026, which includes: firing the STV-380 submachine gun (exercise 1), throwing grenades accurately over a distance, and detonating explosives.

Under the scorching sun of nearly 40 degrees Celsius, the soldiers' faces were tanned, their shirts soaked with sweat, but none took their eyes off the target. Each soldier calmly performed the firing motion, taking aim and pulling the trigger decisively. In the grenade throwing area, arms swung vigorously with determination. At the explosives detonation site, the soldiers skillfully handled the procedures of wrapping and securing explosives, loading and assembling them, and handling emergency situations.

Gone is the initial awkwardness of their enlistment; now, the soldiers' skin is tanned by the sun and wind of the training ground, their eyes more resolute and steadfast after months of training. The resounding commands on the training ground, the prolonged segmented shooting practice under the midday sun, and the meticulous corrections from officers on each aiming movement have helped the soldiers become more confident before stepping into the live ammunition test.

After achieving high scores in the shooting competition, Private Nguyen Quang Anh, a soldier from Company 11 (Battalion 3), with a score of 80 points, shared: "The first time I entered the test, I was very nervous. At times, my hand trembled slightly when I squeezed the trigger because of the pressure. But thanks to the dedicated guidance of officers at all levels and the serious training process, I calmed down and completed my shooting well."

Immediately after the officers announced the results, many soldiers couldn't hide their joy. Some comrades, their hands still covered in dust, had eyes shining with happiness when they heard their names called out on the list of "Excellent Shooters." The soldiers clasped hands with their comrades, sharing their joy after months of arduous training.

Along with the thorough preparation of training grounds, training models, and weapons and equipment, officers at all levels have consistently stayed close to the units, directly guiding and correcting each soldier, helping them master the essential movements and develop a strong psychological fortitude.

Major Doan Thai Hung, Commander of Regiment 141, said: "Through this year's inspection, the soldiers have demonstrated high determination, a firm grasp of the key movements, proficient execution, strict adherence to field discipline and safety regulations."

To achieve these results, Party committees and commanders at all levels have done a good job in all aspects of preparation; strictly maintained training discipline, organized training correctly and completely according to content, program, and plan; ensured the number of personnel participating in training; and carried out registration and statistical reporting of results meticulously. In particular, cadres at all levels have effectively played their roles and responsibilities in managing, monitoring, and commanding training; closely monitored the troops, promptly identified, corrected, and effectively addressed weaknesses from the very beginning.
