The delegation offered incense and flowers at the An Giang Province Martyrs Cemetery (An Chau Commune), expressing deep gratitude to the nation's outstanding sons who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. In front of the souls of the martyrs, officers and soldiers of Military Region 9 vowed to study hard, train, be ready to fight, and firmly protect the achievements of peace and unification that the previous generations had exchanged with their blood and bones.
On this occasion, working delegations of the armed forces of Military Region 9, the Military Region's agencies, the Military Command of An Giang province and the locality visited, encouraged and presented gifts to families of martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and people with outstanding revolutionary contributions in An Chau commune.
