This is the first event in a series of over 50 events that will take place in Hanoi in 2023 such as: Hanoi Tourism Festival 2023; Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2023; Hanoi Autumn Festival; Craft Village Food and Tourism Festival; Hanoi Ao Dai Festival 2023... organized by Hanoi Department of Tourism, Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion and Departments, branches and People's Committees of districts...

According to Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang, in 2023, the capital's tourism industry aims to welcome and serve over 22 million visitors, including over 3 million international visitors; total revenue from tourists will reach VND77,000 billion.

In particular, the Hanoi Department of Tourism is coordinating with the Department of Transport to research and invest in exploiting inland river tourism routes along the Red River, West Lake, Dong Mo Lake, etc., associated with cultural tourism destinations, heritage, agricultural tourism, and experiential tourism in districts, towns, and cities; in the immediate future, focusing on researching and organizing and exploiting the Ben Bac - Bat Trang bus route this year.

According to tourism experts, to attract tourists to the capital, in addition to the efforts of management agencies and tourism businesses, it also requires the participation of Hanoi people in preserving and promoting the civilized and elegant behavior of the people of Trang An. From there, each citizen of the capital will be an active propagandist in promoting the image of culture, history and people of Hanoi.
