Quang Binh turns to people in storm and flood areas in the North

(QBĐT) - Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Pham Thi Han said: Responding to the Appeal Letter to support people in the Northern provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, from September 10 to 4:00 p.m. on September 12, 2024, 357 agencies, units, enterprises, and philanthropists have supported and registered to support through the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Relief Committee with a total amount of over 8 billion VND.

Representatives of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee received support from Quang Binh Electricity Company.

With the amount received, on the afternoon of September 12, the Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee quickly allocated 8 billion VND to promptly share and support people in the Northern provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Accordingly, the Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee transferred 2.5 billion VND to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee for the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to allocate general support and direct support to the northern provinces with an amount of 5.5 billion VND. Specifically, support of 500 million VND/locality for 8 provinces, including: Lang Son, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Bac Giang , Thai Nguyen, Hoa Binh; support of 300 million VND/locality for 5 provinces, including: Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Bac Kan and Tuyen Quang.
