Quang Nam strengthens waste prevention in management and use of public assets

To seriously and effectively implement Regulation No. 189 in the province, the Provincial Party Standing Committee requests Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, agencies, units, and localities to lead and direct the organization of dissemination, propaganda, concretization, and serious implementation of Regulation No. 189 according to assigned authority, functions, and tasks.

In implementation, ensure centralized, unified, close and comprehensive leadership and direction of Party committees and organizations; promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations, mass media and people in monitoring, detecting and recommending handling of abuse and misuse of power for corruption and negativity in management and use of public finance and assets.

Strictly comply with principles and methods of power control, anti-corruption and negativity in management and use of public finance and assets.

Promote the role and exemplary responsibility of leaders of Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and organizations, and the responsibility of cadres, Party members, civil servants and public employees in preventing corruption, negativity, group and local interests in the management and use of public finance and assets.

Regularly self-inspect and direct competent organizations to inspect, examine, and supervise the performance of tasks of agencies, organizations, and individuals related to the management and use of public finance and assets to promptly detect, correct, and handle violations.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requests the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation, the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee and relevant Party committees and organizations to lead and direct the review, development, amendment and supplementation of legal documents, regulations and guidelines within their scope and authority, or propose to competent authorities to develop, amend and supplement legal documents related to the management and use of public finance and public assets; ensuring strictness, synchronization and unity, without leaving any loopholes or shortcomings that could lead to the risk of corruption, negativity and group interests.
