According to the report of the local Statistics Office, Quang Ngai's 6-month GRDP increased the highest in the past 5 years, with the main driving force coming from the industrial - construction sector, increasing by more than 21%. The service and agricultural sectors also recorded positive growth, reaching 8.58% and 2.96%, respectively. The economic picture in the first 6 months of 2025 shows that many localities have made strong breakthroughs, contributing to the highest GDP growth rate of the country in nearly 20 years. In particular, the 5 localities with the highest GRDP growth all recorded an increase of 10% or more - especially with the presence of emerging industrial and service centers.
To achieve the above results, Quang Ngai province has made efforts to synchronously and effectively implement tasks and solutions; in which, closely following and effectively implementing the directions of the Prime Minister , ministries and central branches; identifying difficulties and challenges and providing solutions suitable to local realities. Local authorities, departments and branches clearly identify priority tasks, with focus and key points, ensuring 6 clarity in accordance with the direction of the Government and Prime Minister, which are "clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, clear results". Quang Ngai province also focuses on specifically resolving difficulties and problems of enterprises and investors; synchronously deploying tasks and solutions, regularly inspecting the site to promptly remove obstacles of each project, ensuring construction sites of key projects for early completion and putting into use, preventing waste and loss according to the direction of the Prime Minister.
