According to the Quick Report of the Border Guard Command of Quang Ngai province, as of this morning, September 23, the total number of fishing boats of the province operating in the sea areas is 435 boats/3,374 workers, of which, the sea area of ​​the Gulf of Tonkin has 48 boats/297 workers; Hoang Sa sea area has 51 boats/350 workers; the sea area between the East Sea and Truong Sa has 188 boats/1,568 workers; the South East Sea area has 66 boats/516 workers and the sea area of ​​Quang Ngai province has 82 boats/643 workers. All of the above ships and boats have received information about the developments and direction of the storm and are on their way to enter or escape the dangerous area affected by the storm.

Ly Son Special Economic Zone has 57 aquaculture cages located about 500 meters from shore; the locality has notified people and has a plan to move the cages safely ashore.
