Quang Ngai: One person swept away by floodwaters and missing.

On the morning of August 16th, the Firefighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 – PC07 Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police, was conducting a search for a victim swept away by the water while crossing a river.

On the afternoon of August 15th, Mr. D.H (born in 1944, residing in Rin Village, Son Thuy Commune, Quang Ngai Province) went missing after crossing the Xa Lo River.

Firefighting and Rescue Team Area 1 – PC07 Department searched for a missing person on the night of August 15th.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 1 – PC07 Department promptly deployed forces to the scene at the Xa Lo River to conduct a search for the victim swept away by the water.

The search effort continued to increase personnel and equipment on the morning of August 16th.

By the morning of August 16th, the forces continued to reinforce personnel and specialized equipment such as inflatable boats, life jackets, and sonar, coordinating with local forces to expand the search area, especially in dangerous areas and downstream regions.

Rescue efforts are currently underway.
