Quang Tri province has a 130 billion VND project to produce laminated wood panels.

The Quang Tri Provincial Economic Zone Management Board announced that it has approved the policy and accepted Khanh Hung Quang Tri One-Member Limited Company as the investor to implement the Khanh Hung Plywood Manufacturing Plant project.

Accordingly, the Khanh Hung Plywood Factory project will be located in the Nam Dong Ha Industrial Park, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province, with an estimated land area of ​​66,261 m2. The project will provide plywood and laminated wood panels, with a designed capacity of 20,000 m3 of plywood per year and 6,000 m3 of laminated wood panels per year. The project will utilize technology with main equipment in the production line originating from China.

The total investment capital for the project is 130 billion VND. Of this, the investor's contribution is 65 billion VND (accounting for 50% of the total investment) and the loan from credit institutions is 65 billion VND (accounting for 50% of the total investment).

Regarding the implementation schedule, the investor must complete the legal documentation procedures after receiving the investment approval decision. Specifically, from Q4 2024 to Q2 2025, they will carry out procedures for preparing the basic design documents, environmental permit applications, fire safety permit applications, and construction permits; from Q2 2025 to Q4 2025, they will renovate existing workshops acquired through the project transfer, and construct additional workshops, auxiliary facilities, fire safety systems, and wastewater treatment plants; and from Q3 2025 to Q3 2026, they will import machinery and equipment and complete its installation.

The project will undergo trial runs and be fully operational for production and business purposes by the fourth quarter of 2026.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Minh, Head of the Quang Tri Economic Zone Management Board, stated that the project, located in the Nam Dong Ha Industrial Park, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province, is situated in an area with difficult socio-economic conditions and will therefore receive incentives and support as stipulated by law, as well as the investment incentive and support policies of Quang Tri Province. The condition for the investor to implement the project is that they can only proceed with construction after obtaining an environmental permit from the competent authority and completing all environmental procedures in accordance with regulations.

In addition, investors must deposit a security fund or provide a bank guarantee for the security deposit obligation to ensure the implementation of the project as required. After receiving the investment approval decision, investors must complete the project documents and carry out the procedures for technology assessment and technology transfer as prescribed.

It is known that Khanh Hung Quang Tri One-Member Limited Liability Company was granted its initial business registration certificate by the Quang Tri Department of Planning and Investment on September 21, 2022. The company's headquarters are located at Nam Dong Ha Industrial Park, Dong Luong Ward, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province, and its legal representative is Mr. Nguyen Van Phat (born in 1976), residing in Phu Hoa Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province.
