Upgrading the scale of HD Nam Phat wood processing factory in Nam Dong Ha Industrial Park

Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee has just decided to adjust the investment policy of the project of a wood processing factory from planted forest wood of HD Nam Phat Joint Stock Company.

In this decision to approve the investment policy and investor, the project was adjusted to a new capacity of 220,000 tons of wood pellets/year. In addition, the total investment capital of the project was increased to 730 billion VND (of which the contributed capital to implement the project is 210 billion VND, mobilized capital is 520 billion VND).

Previously, the project of the Wood Processing Factory from planted forest wood of HD Nam Phat Joint Stock Company was approved by the People's Committee of Quang Tri province for the first investment policy on August 26, 2020, and adjusted twice later on November 7, 2023 and January 6, 2025.

The project is implemented in Nam Dong Ha Industrial Park, Quang Tri province.

According to the first investment decision, the project has a capacity of 22,464 tons/year; total investment of 100 billion VND. The project is implemented in Nam Dong Ha Industrial Park, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thien, Deputy Head of the Quang Tri Economic Zone Management Board, said that the project is currently testing the boiler section of the factory. In addition, the increase in the scale and total investment of the project is due to the factory adding an additional investment in the wood chip production line to increase the capacity of compressed pellets as well as adding some other items of the project.

It is known that HD Nam Phat Joint Stock Company was established on June 19, 2019. The enterprise is headquartered in Nam Dong Ha Industrial Park, Dong Luong Ward, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province, with Mr. Nguyen Van Ha (born in 1971) as legal representative and general director.

The enterprise initially had a charter capital of VND 5 billion. In February 2023, the enterprise increased its charter capital to VND 100 billion; by May 2025, the enterprise continued to increase its charter capital to VND 210 billion.
