Achievements of Vietnamese students at the 2025 WMI International Mathematics Competition:

The World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) has been held alternately since 2015 in: China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Thailand,...
The final exam of the 2025 WMI International Mathematics Competition is assessed to have a tight structure, rich in creativity, clear classification and close connection with real life. The exam questions from elementary to high school level not only test basic mathematical knowledge but also focus on training logical thinking, problem solving ability, and application to practical situations.

The exams at the primary level are vividly constructed, close to real-life situations such as: Calculating school hours, dividing cakes, folding paper, shopping, calendars..., while the exams at the middle and high school levels demonstrate mathematical depth through problems on spatial geometry, probability combinations, logical reasoning, advanced arithmetic and optimization.
The richness of content, diversity of forms and openness in problem posing have helped the WMI 2025 international math exam not only be a test of mathematical ability but also an opportunity for global students to practice their thinking, creativity and ability to apply mathematics to the real world - in the spirit of "Mathematics connects the world".
