The Military , Police, Border Guard and relevant units and localities need to be proactive and ready with forces and means to promptly deploy rescue work when situations arise. The Quang Tri Provincial Civil Defense Command also requested the Provincial Hydrometeorological Station to strengthen warnings and forecasts of storm developments and other dangerous weather conditions. Relevant units regularly update and inform authorities and people about storm developments and dangerous weather conditions to proactively take effective prevention and response measures.
According to the forecast of the authorities, around the night of October 3 to the early morning of October 4, storm number 11 will enter the East Sea with strong winds of level 10-11, gusts of level 14 and is likely to strengthen further.
Previously, at the end of September, storm No. 10 made landfall and severely affected Quang Tri province, with an estimated total damage of about 550 billion VND. Quang Tri province is making efforts to overcome the consequences of rain after storm No. 10, and proactively responding early to the complicated developments of storm No. 11 to minimize damage caused by natural disasters, ensuring the safety of people and property.
