Regarding the Van Ly Bridge

At the end of May, some people asked Six Còi if they had heard that the Văn Ly bridge project had stopped construction. Much to his surprise, Six Còi immediately contacted the contractor and was told that work was still being carried out diligently; he also went to the construction site to verify the information.

Regarding the situation around Van Ly Bridge, a colleague recounted meeting a Party member in the project area. This person expressed concern about the construction progress, claiming that the local authorities had not yet cleared the land to hand over to the contractor for the western access road, heading towards Cam Ly intersection (the intersection of DT609 and DT605, in Dien Hong commune, Dien Ban district).

Therefore, the refrain of "bridges waiting for access roads" will repeat itself, as with some projects in the province. Clearly, if even Party members view the issue in this way, how can we build trust among the people?

At this time, the role of party members should be emphasized, thoroughly understanding the problems and offering suggestions and solutions to help local authorities overcome them.

The construction of the Van Ly Bridge and its access roads reflects a strategic vision and realizes the province's planning objectives.

First and foremost, the bridge will eliminate the Ông Đốc ferry crossing, ensuring traffic safety during the rainy season. At the same time, it will create a modern transportation infrastructure, connecting with DT610B and National Highway 1 to the east; DT609 and DT605 to the north; DT609B and National Highway 14H to the south; and DT609B, DT609C and National Highway 14B to the west. The construction of the Văn Ly bridge is also an act of gratitude for the contributions of our ancestors and the great sacrifices of the people of the three Gò Nổi communes during the resistance wars...

It is worth remembering that on May 13th, the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee organized a conference to study and thoroughly understand the 2024 thematic topic: "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh on building and promoting cultural values ​​and human strength to contribute to building Quang Nam into a relatively developed province of the country by 2030".

This special topic addresses the manifestations and harmful effects of the current situation where some officials avoid, shirk, and fear responsibility. To build Quang Nam into a relatively developed province, it is essential to complete the "lifeline" of the economy : transportation infrastructure. The Van Ly Bridge is a key project in this regard. For the project to be completed, the main factor remains the people, with "Party members leading the way, the people following."

Land clearance has never been easy. For a "key" project, land clearance is the "most important of all." Therefore, the entire political system of Dai Loc and Dien Ban must get involved even more decisively. Remember the groundbreaking day, when thousands of people came to watch, placing their hopes on the project's completion on schedule, contributing to the local socio-economic development.
