Criteria for establishing Security and Order Protection Teams in hamlets and neighborhoods: Security and Order Protection Teams are established in hamlets and neighborhoods within communes and wards in Ca Mau province.
Criteria for the number of members in the Security and Order Protection Team at the hamlet/neighborhood level:
Hamlets and villages must meet the following criteria: natural area under 2,500 hectares; population size under 450 households for hamlets, and under 650 households for villages, in which case 3 members will be assigned, including: a group leader, a deputy group leader, and a group member.
Hamlets and villages meeting the following criteria may have additional members assigned to each group, but the total number shall not exceed 5 members per group, specifically:
One additional member will be assigned to hamlets and clusters that meet one of the following two criteria: natural area from 2,500 ha to less than 4,000 ha; population size from 450 households to less than 550 households for hamlets, and from 650 households to less than 800 households for clusters.
Two additional team members will be assigned to hamlets and neighborhoods that meet one of the following two criteria: a natural area of 4,000 hectares or more; or a population size of 550 households or more for hamlets, and 800 households or more for neighborhoods.
This resolution takes effect from January 1, 2026.
