According to Box Office Vietnam, the film earned more than 45 billion VND with 516,421 tickets sold and a very high number of screenings, 9,848. Combined with the revenue from early screenings, as of 8:00 a.m. on March 10, the film currently has a total revenue of nearly 62 billion VND.
Ghost in the House is inspired by the “most horrifying legend of the dead coming back to life” in Vietnamese folklore. In a highland village, a couple named Quang and Nhu make a living by doing burials. Their peaceful life is disturbed when they discover an unclaimed coffin on their land. From here, strange phenomena begin to occur and haunt the whole village.
The film scores points for the consistent performance of the cast, including familiar faces Quang Tuan, Kha Nhu, Meritorious Artist Phu Don, Van Dung, People's Artist Thanh Nam, Hoang Meo, Thanh Tan, Trung Ruoi...
Although its appeal has decreased, The Ancestor's House still has high revenue. The film has nearly 18 billion VND in additional revenue, with more than 190,000 tickets sold. Currently, the film has a total revenue exceeding 220 billion VND, surpassing Nu hon bac bien to become the second highest-grossing Vietnamese film in 2025, behind Bo tu bao thu .
Last week, the box office witnessed excitement because the movies released in theaters were quite diverse, attracting many different audiences.
The Oscar-winning animated film Flow was warmly received by audiences, grossing over 7.5 billion VND with over 68,000 tickets sold despite the small number of screenings, only 2,257. Combined with the previous early screening revenue, the film now has a revenue of over 10 billion VND.
But more notable is the case of The Pit of Death . This IMAX re-release earned more than 6 billion VND despite only having 105 screenings, showing the level of audience interest in this special work.
Extremely Funny Assassin - a Korean action comedy film with Vietnamese dubbing by two actors Le Khanh and Le Duong Bao Lam was also widely received by audiences with a revenue of more than 5.8 billion VND.
