The Project 8 Steering Committee (under the National Target Program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2024) recently collaborated with the Tan Son District Women's Union to organize two training courses on operating community communication teams for communes within the project area.
During the training sessions, participants were guided on operating and managing the Communication Team according to the instructions from the Central Association. Through group discussions, role-playing, and presentations, the speakers conveyed content and knowledge closely aligned with the Central Association's handbook and guidelines.
The "Golden Hand Rule" is disseminated in a lively manner to make it easy for ethnic minorities to understand and spread the message.
Through training aimed at equipping people with knowledge, skills, and methods in operating and maintaining activities, the goal is to educate and mobilize people in the community to change their mindsets and practices, contributing to the elimination of gender stereotypes and biases in families and communities, harmful cultural customs, and addressing some urgent social issues for women and children in the locality. The aim is to "change mindsets and practices" among ethnic minority communities, gradually helping them escape poverty sustainably, contributing to promoting the Association's emulation movements and socio-economic development tasks in the district.
