"Even though the world once covered me in ice and I felt cold, I still have the desire to rise up and shine brightly in my own way," Han Sara shared.
When silence is the way to heal
Having gone through two years of silence, Han Sara revealed, "That wasn't a period of silence due to a lack of inspiration, but rather a time when Sara withdrew into herself amidst invisible wounds called 'verbal abuse' and public pressure. Having lived within the standards others expected, Sara felt she was gradually losing herself – not daring to be different, not daring to… live authentically."
But in the silence, the seeds of her personality continued to sprout. Sara realized that music had never abandoned her. On the contrary, it was the only place where Han Sara could breathe, cry, and continue writing down her long-buried thoughts. She immersed herself in the practice room even on her worst days, and then, Sara began her journey… to thaw out "Unfrozen".
Han Sara rediscovers herself.
"Unfrozen" is more than just the title of an EP – it's a statement. Gone is the familiar cute, baby-faced image; this EP boasts a completely different vibe – individualistic and powerful. This is the first time audiences see Han Sara daring to experiment, daring to break free from her "safe" image, to truly express her own voice through music.
The debut product – the dance MV "Do Anh Si" – is a fusion of Sara's birthplace, South Korea, and Vietnam – the country where Sara has loved and pursued art for the past 8 years. From the choreography and setting to the emotions, the MV marks the beginning of an inspiring journey of rebirth.
No longer the girl who remained silent in the face of public criticism, Sara now shines with music that truly reflects her personality. Each track on the EP is a glimpse into her character, a part of an untold story.
Han Sara's Mini Concert Unfrozen will take place on July 26th, marking 8 years in the arts – not an easy path, but one filled with courage.
