According to reputable sources from analysts, Apple is expected to launch its first foldable phone in 2026, with a price tag nearly double that of the current iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Accordingly, analyst Jeff Pu from GF Securities believes that 2026 will be an important milestone, marking Apple's entry into the foldable phone market. This assessment completely coincides with previous predictions from many other sources, showing that the possibility of a launch this year is very low.

Along with the launch date, the expected price of the foldable iPhone also makes many people 'dizzy'. Analyst Tim Long from Barclays predicts the starting price of this device will be from 2,300 USD (about 58 million VND) or more, depending on the memory version. This figure is nearly double the starting price of 1,199 USD (about 30 million VND) of the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

If the same price increase is applied in other markets, users in the UK could be paying around £2,300, while in Australia it would be AU$4,120. Compared to its direct competitor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 (starting at $1,899), the price of the foldable iPhone is said to be significantly higher.
